Avinash Chander to continue as DRDO Chief

Issue No. 24 | December 16-31, 2014

Dr Avinash Chander, Secretary, Department of Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), has been continued in the same post, beyond his retirement on November 30, for another 18 months on a contract basis, with the same terms and conditions as he would be entitled to Secretary of DRDO before the date of retirement. His contractual term will end on May 31, 2016.
